Bio
Steve graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education (1975) and a Master of Science in Education Administration (1977). Prior to his arrival at WKU, he served as the Associate Director of Recreational Sports at the University of Southern Mississippi and the Director of Campus Recreation at Baylor University. He is a member of the National Intramural Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) and the National Association of Sports Officials (NASO). He is a Certified Recreational Sports Specialist and is listed in the Registry of Collegiate Recreational Sports Professionals. His hobbies include officiating, golfing, traveling, and telling a few good stories.
