"The Hill brings back so many good memories for me. Starting with my time working at the International Center as a graduate assistant, to the day that I walked at graduation holding the flag from my home country in front of the entire audience at the football stadium. I felt so very welcome from the minute I stepped on campus. Even during the difficult times of September 11, the campus and community came together to work through the pain and emotions of a very trying time for the US.
My time in the classroom were very positive for me. The professors at WKU were engaging and passionate in their work. They were willing to assist outside of the classroom and supported their students in all their efforts. During my time at the International Center, I was fortunate to work with dedicated professionals who were more than willing to meet one on one with their students and offer the utmost in support and services. I am very proud to say that I worked at the International Center at WKU and to this day remain in contact with many of the staff who worked at the center."
What were your immediate plans are after graduation?:
"After my MBA I worked at Housing and Residence Life at WKU until 2003. I moved to Indiana and am currently working at Indiana University at the Office of International Services as an International Student Advisor and Orientation Coordinator. Though IU is so much bigger than WKU, I know my time on the Hill served me well and set a good foundation for my current work."
