Opportunities to fund your own IYO Program or Event
To ensure that students are engaging in meaningful ways for their respective disciplines, colleges and departments are encouraged to pursue and develop their own programming. OIP has dedicated substantial funding (1:1 matching required) for the purpose of supporting programs and events that meet the IYO objectives.
WKU units may apply for IYO matching funding through OIP. Click here for information and application materials on the IYO Support Grant.
For each IYO, OIP establishes a Planning Committee of faculty, staff, and community members who have experience and connections with the target country. This committee provides guidance and leadership in planning and carrying out the associated IYO. To learn more about the IYO Ecuador Committee click here.
