Bio
Dr. Amraotkar graduated with a medical degree M.D (Medicine) in 2008 from Tver State Medical Academy, Russia. In 2011, he graduated with a Master of Public Health from WKU and is currently pursuing a graduate certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders at Western. He has worked extensively with individuals diagnosed with ASD of different age groups who are non-verbal and plans to pursue a medical residency program in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, with future aspirations of a fellowship in Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Alok Amraotkar has previously been employed as a Graduate Assistant at KAP. In August 2011, he accepted the Program Manager position and oversees the elementary, middle and high school program. His research interests include: Differential Reinforcement, Self Injurious Behavior and Sensory Integrations. As a Public Health professional, he plans to increase Autism Awareness in rural communities throughout Kentucky.
He is fluent in five different languages including Russian & English and enjoys playing Volleyball.
