The Kentucky Museum offers four weeks of day camp during the month of
June. Camps are Monday through Friday, from 8AM - 12PM with drink and snack provided
at 10AM.
Camps are filled on a first come first served basis and limited to 22 participants. Please don't delay registration as these camps fill up quickly.

June 3 - 7 Clay Camp with Laura Bain-Selbo Ages 6 - 10
Clay Camp registration is closed, to be placed on a wait list call 270-745-2594
Students will learn basic hand building techniques to create a variety of functional and decorative ceramic pieces. Students will have an opportunity to decorate their work with painted glazes. Participants will need to pick up kiln fired work approximately two weeks after camp.
June 10 - 14 Chinese Culture Camp with Winny Lin Ages 7 - 12
Chinese Culture Camp registration is closed.
Campers will explore Chinese language, arts and culture. Activities will include language study, mask making, Kungfu dance, Tai Chi, calligraphy, and much more. On June 14th, families are invited for a special performance by campers.
June 17 - 21 Make It Camp with Lynne Ferguson Ages 8 - 13
Campers will learn to make fun and useful items out of various materials. Handmade items will include a woven basket, painted bird house gourd, molded paper bowl, hand-made book, wind-sock and more. Students will also have the opportunity to tour Kentucky Museum exhibits.
June 24 - 28 Art Camp with Lynne Ferguson Ages 6 - 12
Students will learn fun and creative art techniques which they can utilize in their own art work. Campers will explore drawing with pencil, markers, and pastels as well as painting with watercolor and acrylic. Students will draw inspiration from guided tours of the Kentucky Museum exhibits and WKU's outdoor sculptures.

- Full payment must be made at the time of registration.
- Parental consent form (see link below) must be completed prior to the start of camp.
- Camp rules form (see link below) must be completed prior to the start of camp.
- When camps are full registering will place you on a waiting list.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation 30 days prior to camp for a full refund.
- Cancellation 29 - 15 days prior to camp for 50% refund.
- Cancellation 14 days prior to camp no refund.
All camps take place at the Kentucky Museum located at 1440 Kentucky Street, Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green, KY
