The Kentucky Museum – Around Campus Exhibits


 

The Hilltoppers

WKU Spirit, Tradition and Pride describe the exhibit at the Eva and Jim Martins Alumni Center. This unique exhibit of memorabilia from the rich history of Western, reflects excellence and evokes a sense of pride for all who pass through its door while representing the past, present and future of the institution.

Sports and cheerleading uniforms, trophies and other Western memorbilia are exhibited in two large cases which are part of a larger exhibition highlighting the university's athletic history.

The history of Ogden College from 1877 to its merger with WKU in 1928 is the focus of this exhibit. The exhibit also highlights the Perry Snell Art Collection.

Western's "Model Training School" opened on September 17, 1906. This exhibit focuses on the school's history highlighting education, athletics and extracurricular activities.
