Xposure Journalism Workshop

June 14th - 22nd

For 30 years, students from throughout Kentucky and the region have come to learn

and practice journalism at Western Kentucky University’s Xposure Journalism Workshop.

These students have shown an interest in journalism and came to the workshops with

backgrounds under-represented in U.S. newsrooms. Some lacked the financial resources

to attend journalism workshops. The 2014 Xposure High School Journalism Workshop

— June 14 - 22 —hosted by the School of Journalism & Broadcasting and student

publications at WKU will continue that tradition. The alumni of these workshops fill newsrooms

throughout the country, helping to ensure that the news gatherers at media outlets mirror

the diverse communities they serve.
