Mr. Schell leads courses in Organization Management and Strategic Management in addition to pursuing active research in emotional intelligence and bringing examples of exceptional leadership and management to the classroom.
Bio

Area of Expertise:
Mr. Schell has wide experience developing entrepreneurial ventures and capitalizing upon international markets. His leadership roles in both public and private corporations have included working as a structural steel installer, placed securities and other financial products with international corperations, imported raw and semi-finished wood products from Russia, and run successful consulting ventures in business planning and wood-product manufacturing.
He has also lived and studied extensively in Japan. Mr. Schell brings considerable professional and personal interest in Asian and in developing opportunities abroad for WKU students. He has twice been awarded the College's Student Advising Award and was named Teacher of the Year by the WKU Kappa Alpha order. He also received a Sam Walton fellowship for work with Students in Free Entreprise, the world's largest student organization dedicated to the advancement of free entreprise education. As the Sam Walton fellow for the SIFE team, Mr. Schell provides leadership and guidance for an active team that amasses thousands of student-community contact hours per academic year.
As Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, he works to infuse entrepreneurial energy throughout the WKU community, Kentucky, and beyond.
