WKU offices in Bowling Green will open at 10 a.m. Friday. Classes Friday remain canceled and campuses in Glasgow, Owensboro and Elizabethtown/Ft. Knox remain closed Friday. Saturday classes in Bowling Green will proceed as scheduled. Here is a link to the University’s attendance policy during adverse weather conditions. Use caution and watch for slick spots on roads and walks. 

Residence Halls remain open until noon Saturday. Bemis & Barnes have space for those who need to stay longer. Visit WKU Housing & Residence Life for more information.

MPC Registration Fee

The MPC registration fee is $25*.

*Your MPC registration fee covers:

  • T-shirt
  • Entrance to M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan socials and special events
  • Monday's Educational Sessions

Please note: meals are not included in your MPC registration fee.  You are highly encouraged to purchase $15 Dining Dollars (loaded on your WKU student ID) or bring extra cash with you to cover your lunch and dinner on-campus on Monday, August 18th.

How to Register for MPC

You can register to participate in MPC in one of two ways:

  1. Online through TopNet with a credit or debit card (coming soon!)
  2. By completing and submitting thepaper registration form (coming soon!) along with a check or money order made payable to Western Kentucky University.

ATP** is WKU's Academic Transition Program. While the ATP and MPC staff members work closely together to ensure a meaningful orientation experience for all of WKU's first year students, ATP and MPC are two separate programs.

During ATP you'll meet your Academic Advisor, get registered for classes, and learn about WKU student services and campus departments at the Information Fair.
