WEEKLY UPDATE: Summer Parking Lot Maintenance

The following construction activities are scheduled during the week of July 29, 2013:

  • Diddle North Lot (Avenue of Champions side), McClean Service Dr. and DFM Loading Dock are scheduled for sealing and striping on August 2nd – 3rd

The following maintenance activities are tentatively scheduled during the week of August 5, 2013:

  • On August 10th, cracks in the asphalt will be filled in Potter Lot, Old Fort Lot, and Minton Lot.  Lots will remain open at all times.

Saturday, July 20th:

  • Regents Avenue will be paved on Saturday, July 20th.  One lane will remain open at all times.  Expect minor delays.  Please use caution.
  • Poland Lot will be striped.  It will open at the end of the day.

The following construction activities are scheduled during the week of July 22, 2013:

  • Chestnut Street South Lot will be closed for sealing and striping after 12:30 pm on Friday, July 26th.  Access to EH&S will be available from Hogle Drive. 
  • Normal Street improvements will continue.  Flagmen will be present.  Expect minor delays.  Please use caution.

The following maintenance activities are tentatively scheduled during the week of July 29, 2013:

  • Diddle North Lot, McClean Service Dr. and DFM Loading Dock are scheduled for sealing and striping on August 2nd – 3rd

The following construction activities are scheduled beginning July 12th, 2013:

  • Service Supply Lot will be closed for sealing and striping on Friday, July 12th. Please use alternate parking such as Creason Lot.  The lot will reopen on Monday, July 15th.
  • Chestnut Street South Lot is scheduled for repairs beginning Monday, July 15th.  The lot will remain open during repairs.    
  • Regents Avenue is scheduled for repaving.  One Lane will remain open at all times.  Please use caution.
  • Poland Lot will be closed for sealing and striping beginning Thursday, July 18th.  Please use alternate parking such at Creason Lot.
  • A crane will be located in Diddle West Lot beginning Monday, July 15th for roof repair to the auxiliary gym.  Please use caution.

The following construction activities are tentatively scheduled during the week of July 22, 2013:

  • Chestnut Street South Lot will be closed for sealing and striping after 12:30 pm on Friday, July 26th.  Access to EH&S will be available from Hogle Drive.

The following construction activities are scheduled beginning July 5th, 2013:

  • Diddle North Lot will be closed for sealing and striping beginning Friday, July 5th. The lot will reopen on Monday, July 8th, 2013. Please use alternate parking, such as PS1.
  • Honors Lot will be closed for repaving beginning Monday, July 8th. Please use alternate parking.
  • College Heights Boulevard will be repaved between State Street and College Street.  One lane to remain open at all times. Please use caution.
  • Regents Avenue / Chestnut Street intersectionimprovements will continue.
    • Accessible curb ramps will be installed on all four corners and the crosswalks will be improved in all directions. A four-way stop will also be installed.
    • The wall will be truncated and a sidewalk added at the exit of Chestnut Street South Lot.  The sidewalk will be widened along Regents Avenue.
    • Chestnut Street South is scheduled for repairs.  Lot will remain open.

The following construction activities are tentatively scheduled during the week of July 15th, 2013:

  • Regents Avenue is scheduled for repaving. One lane of Regents Avenue will remain open at all times during repaving. 
  • Poland Lot will be closed from July 18th – 20th for sealing and striping. Please use alternate parking, such as Creason Lot.
