Brahms: Academic Festival Overture; Beethoven: Piano Concerto #5 - Emperor
WKU Emerita Professor Sylvia Kersenbaum has had a stellar career as pianist specializing in Beethoven. This performance marks her 14th appearance with The Symphony. Although Brahms never went to college, he was offered two honorary doctorates - Cambridge University and University of Breslau.
