TOP GRANT UPDATE: The selection Committee for the TOP Grant program has selected four pre-proposals to be moved forward to the presentation stage of the process. The four pre-proposals moving forward are:

Each team has now been invited to give a 12-to-15-minute campus presentation on October 25th, 2023, in DSU 1037 (Night Classroom) from 3:30 to 5:00 PM. After the presentation, the committee will again discuss the pre-proposal and the presentation and determine which groups to invite to provide a full proposal (will know by November 1st. ). The full proposal will need to be submitted by November 17th. On November 30th, the TOP Advisory Group will make recommendations to Provost Fischer for funding of two TOP proposals. WE HOPE YOU WILL COME TO HEAR THESE EXCITING TALKS.
REMINDER: Next Tuesday, October 24, we take on Liberty University at Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium. Prior to the game, I hope you join me on South Lawn at 5:00 p.m. for a free pregame concert by country music superstar Jordan Davis. Every faculty and staff member will receive two free tickets to this game and may purchase additional tickets for only $10. You can claim your two free tickets at the Diddle Arena ticket office (M-F, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) or on game day at the ticket booth (Gates 3 or 4) at the Stadium (opens three hours before kickoff). Additionally, when you pick up your free tickets, you will also receive one drink coupon per game ticket, good for free bottled water or soda.
