Confucius Institute at WKU dedicates building

The Confucius Institute at WKU held a dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Model Confucius Institute Building on Friday (May 5). The building, located on Normal Drive, is the home of the CI at WKU.
The ceremony included remarks from WKU President Gary A. Ransdell and Madame Xu Lin, former Director General of Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters.

Ryan Messenger, a double major in the College of Health and Human Services (CHHS), in Exercise Science and Dietetics, has been selected to attend the Gilman Foreign Policy in Focus: Global Food Security seminar in Washington, DC, this June.
