Majors and Minors Fair

WKU's Advising & Career Development Center will host the 2021 Majors and Minors Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 29 on the third floor of Downing Student Union. This event will provide students the unique opportunity to explore the vast departmental offerings of university majors, minors, concentrations, and careers associated with them. “Challenging Conversations: Ethical Approaches to Team-Based Care," presented by Drs. Melissa Travelsted and Kurt Neelly from WKU CHHS were awarded the best poster in the Communication Strategies, Empathy category at the IPEC poster fair.

Vivian Rivera is WKU's latest to earn the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship. NSF Fellows receive a three-year annual stipend of $37,000 and a $16,000 cost-of-education allowance is awarded to their graduate institution.
