Orientation

The International Student and Scholar Services will host an Orientation in August 2012. All incoming international students (including J-1 students) should attend this Orientation. We will have break-out sessions for J-1 visa holders like you, where your specific needs as Exchange Visitors will be addressed. The Orientation will also provide you with a chance to meet the OIP and ISSS staff. The Orientation and many of its components are MANDATORY for J-1 students. You will receive a more detailed schedule before arriving.

Special note for exchange students arriving in the fall semester: Since the orientation takes place prior to the opening of the fall semester residence halls, OIP can help those of you living on campus find temporary housing. Information about this will be available this summer. If you are living on campus for the fall semester, you will move to your permanent fall residence on Friday, August 19th.
