Health Insurance

In order to study as a J1 student at WKU, you must purchase WKU health insurance. Your student account will be charged $633.00 and must be paid by no later than the first Friday of the academic term. Failure to do so will result in a revoking of your DS-2019, meaning you will no longer be in the country legally. You may pay using MasterCard, Discover or American Express at www.afford.com/wku or through TopNet. A convenience fee equal to 2.99% of the amount of the payment will be assessed. VISA NOT ACCEPTED. You may also pay in person at the Bursar’s Office with cash or check.
