Studied at the Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies in Rome, Italy (one semester).
Assisted Yvonne Petkus (professor of art and my spouse) during her Jr. Faculty Grant in Rome, Italy (three weeks).
Lived and traveled in Switzerland during junior year of high school (five weeks).
And I live vicariously through the planning of all of Dr. Cobane’s overseas (and domestic) travel!

Getting to know and understand even a tiny slice of another culture can be profound and life-altering, and I think everyone at WKU should have the opportunity to experience that—whether through study abroad or through international and multicultural events held here on campus.
