WKU Counseling Services

WKU Counseling Services

Here to Help is an online mental health information page sponsored by the Counseling and Testing Center at WKU. You can submit a question online about school, personal or professional or just about life in general. The service is completely confidential. The Here to Help archive displays questions asked in the past, but if you would rather your question not be displayed, you may indicate this in your email. The service never reveals the identity of the person asking the question.  Questions are submitted via email, so a response will be sent to you personally.  All questions will be answered by Counseling and Testing Center Staff.

If you are in emotional crisis, PLEASE DO NOT RELY ON THIS SERVICE FOR HELP. Please contact the Counseling and Testing Center at 270-745-3159 immediately. If you are in crisis after hours, please call the 24 Hour Help Line emergency service at 270-843-4357.

Mental Health Screening

Mental health is a key part of your overall health. Brief screenings are the quickest way to determine if you or someone you care about should connect with a mental health professional - they are a checkup from your neck up. This program is completely anonymous and confidential, and immediately following the brief questionnaire you will see your results, recommendations, and key resources. Take the free screening now at: screening.mentalhealthscreening.org/WKENTUCKYU.
