Western Kentucky University (WKU), Police Department, is seeking applicants for a Police Officer. This position is for a SWORN POLICE OFFICER ONLY who performs general police duties in the protection of life and property. Work is performed in accordance with departmental rules and regulations while enforcing state and federal law. Applicant must be willing to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays. Completion of the department's training program is required. Applicants must meet applicable Police Officer Professional Standards (POPS) requirements including a medical exam, complete background investigation, drug test and oral interview.
