Office Systems Technologies Associates Degree

The two-year Associate of Arts Degree program in Office Systems Technologies requires a total of 60 semester credit hours. The curriculum is designed to develop appropriate knowledge, skill, and attitudes needed by office professionals.

The Office Systems Technologies program prepares individuals for a lifetime of learning and growth. The OST graduate will be competent in the concepts of office systems methodologies and capable of applying these concepts in structured and non-structured problems in an office environment. In addition to the basic office skills and computer application courses, students get a foundation in supervisory management, business communications, office administration, records and information management, economics, and accounting.

    • OST 222C - Advanced Desktop Publishing
  • OST 217C - Transcription - 3 hours
  • OST 225C - Records & Information Management - 3 hours 
  • OST 255C - Office Administration - 3 hours 
  • BUS 110C/ACC 200C - Basic Accounting I or Acct. - Financial - 3 hours
  • BUS 214C - Business Communications - 3 hours 
  • BUS 248C - Supervisory Management - 3 hours 
  • CSCI 145C - Intro to Computing - 3 hours 
  • INS 270C - Electronic Spreadsheets - 3 hours 
  • Business Electives (Advisor Approved) - 6 hours
