 WKU's newest academic department

Psychological Science faculty at Ogden Spring meeting

On November 1st, 2013, the WKU Board of Regents created the Department of Psychological Sciences in Ogden's College of Science and Engineering. The new department provided a way for faculty formerly associated with the Psychology Department in the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences to move into a college with a strong focus on basic and applied scientific research. Twenty faculty members, all of them dynamic teachers and productive researchers, moved to the new Psychological Sciences Department. This exciting advancement demonstrates WKU's commitment to the kinds of scientific and technological advances in the fields represented in Ogden College.
