The Psychology Bachelor of Arts is a great program for persons interested in helping others and who want to understand why people behave the way they do. The Psychology major provides you with critical thinking skills and knowledge of human behavior that prepares you for graduate schools or for direct service employment. The Psychology major is a flexible program allowing you to add a complementary minor in another topic for breadth of skills and knowledge that will make you more attractive to employers and graduate programs.
Our minor in Psychology is a great complement to many other programs, adding depth and scientific analysis skills as well as deeper understanding of human behavior across a variety of contexts. If your future career path will involve working with people, then the minor can be a practical addition.
This minor will be of particular interest to those wanting a career in the mental health or human services sector. The program introduces you to the varied professions that serve people who are faced with challenges in living.
