WKU offices in Bowling Green will open at 10 a.m. Friday. Classes Friday remain canceled and campuses in Glasgow, Owensboro and Elizabethtown/Ft. Knox remain closed Friday. Saturday classes in Bowling Green will proceed as scheduled. Here is a link to the University’s attendance policy during adverse weather conditions. Use caution and watch for slick spots on roads and walks. 

Residence Halls remain open until noon Saturday. Bemis & Barnes have space for those who need to stay longer. Visit WKU Housing & Residence Life for more information.

Charlie Rhea, a senior from Louisville, KY is a second year Spirit Master majoring in Public Health with a concentration in Environmental Health Science. A student in the WKU Honors College, he is a recipient of the Dr. James H Stuteville and WKU Louisville Area Alumni scholarships as well as the Louisville Male High School Pierce Butler Atwood award and scholarship. On campus, Charlie is a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity as well as a student worker and tour guide for the WKU Office of Admissions. His honors include being named the 2014 Outstanding Student of Public Health within Environmental Science and has been recognized on the President’s list, the Dean’s list and the Greek Academic Hall of Fame.
