Dr. Kathleen Abrahamson, Assistant Professor Public Health, will be presenting The Challenges of Applying Ethnographic Methods to Evaluation Research, with a Focus on Current Qualitative Work in Nursing Homes.
A WKU graduate student has developed a smartphone app that uses Twitter data to track the outbreak of the Ebola virus and could predict the spread of the virus.
Dr. Nahid Gani, Assistant Professor of WKUís Department of Geography and Geology, has been awarded the prestigious and nationally competitive American Chemical Society-Petroleum Research Fund (ACS-PRF) Grant to support her research in East Africa.
