Welcome Students
Everyone is different in what they need from their study abroad experience. Some students dream of one particular country, others let the needs of their major decide the right program for them and many students just know that they want to be ready for a globalized economy. Fortunately, WKU’s Office of Study Abroad and Global Learning has the resources to help everyone find the right place.
WKU has several special relationships with universities and programs around the world. Our exchanges allow the Hill-toppers to take WKU to the world while students pay the same tuition to study abroad as they would to be in Kentucky. Also, the WKU faculty regularly lead abroad classes to deepen their students understanding. Harlaxton has been a proud partner of WKU since 2007 and welcomes students to study at a manor house outside of London. Semester at Sea is an option for students who want short visits to a variety of countries while taking their floating classroom with them.
All of these great options are a possibility for students of WKU. If you are just starting to explore study abroad, click on the mini map below to explore available location and program, and join one of our General Advising sessions to learn more about these great opportunities. Our office is located at 128 Grise Hall and we’re open from 8:00am to 4:30pm (summer hours are from 7.30am-3pm).
If you have a good idea of what you would like out of your international experience, contact us at study.abroad@wku.edu to make an appointment with an advisor to guide you to the right program.
