When you get back
Welcome back from your adventure abroad! Now that you’ve taken WKU to the world, bring some of that international experience home to Kentucky. Tell everyone about what it meant to be a HillTopper abroad!
- Sign up for a re-entry session by replying to "Welcome Back!" message from SAGL.
- Apply to be a study abroad student ambassador.
WKU study abroad student ambassadors are chosen to represent the study abroad experience to other students who haven’t been lucky enough to study internationally. They talk about their experience with other students and give a hand at the Study Abroad Fair. You get to talk about your time abroad, promote the country you studied in, and have a leadership role to put on your resume. The office of Study Abroad also values your opinion about the program you went on, fill out an study abroad program evaluation form and tell us about your experience.
When your college career is coming to an end, you will also have the opportunity to show your study abroad accomplishment by ordering an official Study Abroad Graduation Sash that you can wear over your graduation gown. In addition, the office of Study Abroad and Global Learning will organize a reception for all graduates that studied abroad, so make sure you rsvp to that event as well.
