Study Away Withdrawal Request
We hope you don’t have to withdraw from a program, but if you do, you are responsible for notifying the Office of Study Away of your intention to withdraw.
An email to firstname.lastname@example.org stating your withdrawal is the only accepted method to assure you are withdrawn. Neither phone calls nor telling your program faculty member assures you are withdrawn, therefore, you will still be considered a program participant until official notification is received by the Office of Study Away.
Once we receive the withdrawal email, the Study Away staff will drop you from the course. If you drop the course yourself, the charge will remain on your account until you email the Office of Study Away of your withdrawal.
A refund, if any, will be based on the date that the withdrawal email is received by the Study Away office as stated in the program details sheet (also called green sheet).
