Study Away Withdrawal Request
We hope you don’t have to withdraw from a program, but if you do, a Study Away Office Withdrawal Form must be completed. No other statements of withdrawal will be considered as notification of withdrawal; therefore, the student will still be considered a program participant until official notification is received by the SAO.
Once we receive the withdrawal form, the Study AWAY Office will drop you from the course. If you drop the course yourself, the charge will remain on your account until you complete the withdrawal form.
Refunds will be based on the date that the Withdrawal Form is received by the Study Away Office as stated in the Study Away Student Handbook.
NOTE: Some users have not been able to use the Email function in the PDF application. If you have trouble, you have a few options:
- Use the Send, select Internet Email. This will save a local version. Go to your Email and mail to firstname.lastname@example.org as an attachment.
- Print your request and bring to the Study Away Office. We are located in the Knicely Center at South Campus. Please come in the central entrance and to go right. In the DELO office, you can leave your application.
