At the annual meeting of the Kentucky Academy of Science in Lexington, Dr. Cheryl Davis, Professor of Biology at WKU, was handed the "gavel" and officially became president of the Society. Congratulations Dr. Davis!

WKU biology student honored at microbiology conference "Plugs" Plant Day Congratulations to the 2013 Biology Scholars!
On Monday, June 3 the Durbin site team was finally able to hold Plugs Planting Day. Plugs are small settings of sedges and rushes that were planted along the major Durbin site drainage channel to stabilize the banks and slow flow in rain events.
