Each year on September 11th the Travis Manion Foundation brings local communities together for a 9/11 Heroes Run to remember, honor and support our men and women in the Armed Services, Police, Firefighter and First Responder communities who protect and serve our country every day. With the help of Chevrolet and other great sponsors, we will host more than 35 races nationwide in 2011 year giving Americans the opportunity to run, volunteer, donate, cheer but most of all honor the fallen.
This year Student Veterans Alliance will be sponsoring one here in Bowling Green, KY at Keriakes Park on September 8th. Registration is online at http://911heroesrun.com/runs and the race begins at 5:30pm.
