Teacher Admissions Orientation Meetings
All students who wish to enter the teaching profession must attend an orientation meeting. Please bring a copy of your blackboard activity results showing you received an 85% or higher. Those who do not have a minimum score of 85% or higher or do not have a copy of their blackboard activity results with them will not be allowed to attend that orientation session. Only students who meet all of the criteria for admission will be admitted to the Teacher Education Program.

NOTE: To be eligible to receive an application for student teaching and to apply for student teaching, the student must have completed all the requirements for admission to Teacher Education and must have been approved by Western Kentucky University’s Professional Education Council.
