WKU Parking Permits

Just as there is a wide variety of students that make up the WKU campus, there is a wide variety of parking permits available.

In general, a person is eligible to purchase only a select type of permit(s).  This is determined based on their classification as it relates to their parking needs.  Listed below are all the types of parking permits recognized by WKU.  Please read the information for each as more than one type may be available per user.

STUDENT PERMITS

• Housing Permits

• students living in campus residence halls
• Cost = $90
• Commuter Permits
• Who's Eligible?
• students living off campus and commuting to and from
• Cost = $90
• Campbell Lane Park 'n Ride
• Who's Eligible?

• any student who wishes to park at the Campbell Lane Lot and use the Topper Transit System to travel between campuses

• Cost = $30
• Disability - Tier 2
• Who's Eligible?
• any student meeting the qualifications for a Disability Permit
• includes service on the ADA transport vans
• Cost = $90
• Motorcycle Sticker
• Who's Eligible?
• any student who wishes to park a two-wheeled motor vehicle
• Cost = Free is customer has purchased a regular parking permit.  Otherwise cost is $90.

FACULTY/STAFF PERMITS

• Non-Premium Permits
• Who's Eligible?
• any person employed directly by WKU and is classified as an Employee (full time students, event though they may work for WKU will be classified as a Student rather than an Employee)
• Cost = $95
• Premium Permits
• Who's Eligible?
• same qualifications as for a Non-Premium but due to limited availability, a waiting list for a Premium Permit exists.  Please call PTS at (270) 745-2361 to be placed on this waiting list.
• Cost = $185
• Campbell Lane Park 'n Ride
• Who's Eligible?
• any Faculty/Staff member who wishes to park at the Campbell Lane Lot and use the WKU Topper Transit System to travel between campuses
• Cost = $35
• Gated Permits
• Who's Eligible?
• any Faculty/Staff member
• Cost = $475
• Reserved Permits
• Who's Eligible?
• any Faculty/Staff member
• Cost = $655
• Retiree
• Who's Eligible?
• retired WKU Faculty/Staff members
• Cost = $90
• Disability - Tier 1
• Who's Eligible
• any Faculty/Staff member meeting the qualifications for a Disability Permit
• includes service on the ADA transport vans
• Cost = $ 95
