Declining Balance Dollars

NEW FOR FALL 2017! MPD Flex

All full-time undergraduates* (enrolled in 12 credit hours or more and living on- or off-campus) have $75 Meal Plan Dollars automatically loaded to their WKU student ID card each semester. These funds can be used at any WKU Restaurant Group dining location.

*This excludes all first year (less than two regular session semesters) students living on-campus under the age of 21 who are required to participate in one of the on-campus meal plans.

The $75 MPD Flex is charged to the University bill/student account automatically when the 12 credit hour criteria is met in the fall and spring semesters.

The Benefits of $75 MPD Flex:

  • Easy way to budget for snacks and food purchases while on-campus and to socialize more while on-campus
  • No actions to take; the process is automatic
  • No need to carry cash; your $75 MPD Flex is on your student ID card
  • Financial aid and scholarships can be used towards the charge

Looking For More?

The MPD Flex Plan offers an average of $4.68 per week. If you purchase an on-campus meal plan, you will be exempt from the $75 MPD Flex. Note that additional funds cannot be added to the MPD Flex account. If you would like to add funds, you may add Dining Dollars at any time through TopNet
