Summer Workshop Series


The Summer Workshop Series is opportunity for community members and organizations to develop some of their services. The Center offers up to four workshops each summer that are open to the public. The workshops are interactive and provide helpful information from professionals in the area.

Registration information is provided with each of the workshop details. All workshops can be paid in advance or at the door. Checks and money orders can be made payable to the WKU ALIVE Center. Starting a Nonprofit: What's Involved?

Description: Nonprofit organizations are formed by groups of people with a common concern who organize to take action. This session provides a checklist of the actions necessary to gain nonprofit tax-exempt status, as well as suggested resources to turn to for help.
