WKU Folk Studies Alumni

Welcome back to our site!

Some sad news for the department.  WKU alumni Jean DeGrace Crandall passed away November 1, 2011.  Dale W. Johnson posted about it on the WKU Folk Studies Alumni facebook page "I'm passing on a message from the New York Folklore Society.  Jean was a dear friend and I worked with her closely on NY Folklore and pre-concert lectures at the Bardavon Opera House.  Never a sweeter person has existed."  Click here to go to the caringbridge site about Jean Crandall.

We want to keep in touch with all our grads. We hope you will let us know what you would like to see on this site.

Check out our Alumni News section, ASF Alumni Dinner, Alumni Roundtable, and Alumni Kids.

Profiles of successful graduates may be found in the 'What Do I Do With This Degree?' section provided for prospective students. If you would like to be added to this section or want to update your information, please contact Michael Ann.

This section also provides links to grads' websites and blogs. Want to be added? Let us know. You may want to keep up with former faculty, so we have provided retired faculty profiles so you can see what they have been up to in recent years.

Do you want to stay in touch through the GradFolk listserve? Contact Erika Brady to be added.
