About the Owensboro Regional Center Library
The Owensboro Campus Library is a general reference library with primary emphasis
on upper-level undergraduate and graduate research needs. It is a non-circulating
collection which includes: standard reference sources (encyclopedias, dictionaries,
handbooks, directories); current magazines; local newspapers; and electronic indexes
and Internet databases.
Currently enrolled students can request books and magazine articles to be sent from
the WKU main campus library. Materials are usually delivered overnight via special
courier. Turnaround time on requests is usually 1-2 days, but at times the service
takes up to 7-10 days.
The library staff can help you find print sources, use the WKU library's online catalog
and databases, and make requests for main-campus items.
NOTE: You can access the WKU databases from off campus using the passwords provided
by the Library.

Reserves
WKU-O Library can have copies of articles or books placed on reserve by professors.
Some reserve items are online via BlackBoard. Most file copy reserve materials are
"Room Use" only and may not be removed from the library. Some reserves may be checked
out after 6:00 p.m. for overnight use. Instructors may also designate a three-day
or seven-day loan period. Fines for overdue reserves are $.25 per hour or $.75 per
day per item.
Photocopy Services
A self-service photocopier, and a document scanner is available.
Computer Services
WKU-O Library has eleven desktop computers as well as nineteen laptop computers that
can be checked out and used within the WKU-O Building.
