Why did you choose to attend WKU?

WKU has a beautiful campus and the environment is so welcoming. I felt at home the moment I stepped foot on campus. I wanted a university that had a lot of opportunities for me to get involved, as well as a great academic education. WKU exceeded my expectations and provided me with the tools needed to excel in my professional career.

What sets WKU apart from the other schools?

WKU is surprisingly the 3rd largest university in Kentucky. The classroom settings are much smaller than other universities, giving students the opportunity to get to know their professors and classmates. Professors make themselves available to help their students and really want to help them.

I encourage all students to get involved! Your college experience is what you make of it. Academics are very important but your experience can be more fulfulling if you find your niche on campus. There are 250+ registered organizations on campus that you can be a part of.

Who is your WKU idol?

My WKU idol is Big Red. Everyone loves Big Red. Big Red is a bundle of spirit that brings joy everywhere he goes. He has won numerous awards and attends WKU athletic events, conferences, and sometimes walks around campus to spread the WKU cheer between classes.
