Why did you choose to attend WKU?

I visited other schools, but nothing felt like home to me. After coming to visit at WKU, and meeting with my Admissions Counselor, I knew that this was the place for me. I can now look back and know that the decision to come to WKU was one of the best choices I have every made. Now, I hope to have the opportunity to help others in their college search as an Admissions Counselors for WKU.

What sets WKU apart from the other schools?

Whether walking around campus or sitting in a classroom, you soon realize that this place is much more than just a school. At WKU, mantras like "The Spirit Makes the Master" and "Life More Life" are much more than marketing slogans. They're a way of life that all people in the WKU family adopt and live by.

The number one thing I encourage future students to check out:

Consider living on campus! WKU's residence halls are not the wild dorms that you see in movies. In our residence halls, there is a sense of community and togetherness that will add to your experience on the Hill.

What I enjoy most about working in WKU Admissions:

I enjoy the opportunity to go out across our state and the United States to meet with student and talk to them about WKU. For me, this institution has profoundly changed my life and my work as an Admissions Counselor is a great way for me to give back in a meaningful way.
