The ALIVE CCP connects WKU students and faculty with opportunities and resources for engaged scholarship that involve community-based research and service-learning.
Countless groups of students partner with community groups to address needs through The $100 Solution projects each semester.
Campus and community also meet annually to talk about pressing issues in the area and how they can work together in groups through the Campus & Community Network.

Every year the ALIVE Center compiles information received from community partners with information about summer activities for youth in the Bowling Green/Warren County community. This is continuously updated throughout the spring to provide activities in the a number of different categories.

Big Red's Blitz
The WKU ALIVE Center for Community Partnerships and WKU's Housing and Residence Life has begun plans for the Ninth Annual Big Red's Blitz, a day of service for students during M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan. The students "blitz" Bowling Green, providing up to four hours of service to local nonprofit agencies and WKU departments that serve specific areas of the community. For years this event has been a great way to get WKU students involved the local community, and more than 250 students participate each year now.
Big Red's Blitz will take place on Thursday, August 22nd. If your organization or department is interested in being a project site, please consider participating.
