Junior Achievement of South Central Kentucky

Contact Number: 782-0280

Currently seeking volunteers to deliver in class programs. Junior Achievement is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students in grades K to 12 about entrepreneurship, work readiness and financial literacy through hands-on programs. Our programs help prepare young people for the real work by showing them how to generate wealth and effectively manage it, how to create jobs which make their communities more robust and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking to the workplace.

JA provides training and on-going support for volunteers and we equip volunteers with all the materials needed for their class. Teaching guides are easy to follow and the programs are fun and engaging. Elementary programs only require volunteers to visit the classroom 5 times, Middle school requires 6 visits and high school requires 7 visits. For more information on JA programs, please visit, http://www.ja.org/programs/programs.shtml. We will match up the best grade, location or time period for your schedule.
