Welcome to the Construction Management Program
Welcome and thank you for taking time to visit the website of the Construction Management (CM) program at WKU. The program is ACCE accredited and is committed to provide students with exemplary education in the area of construction engineering and management, and focuses on building technical and managerial skills needed to assume leading positions in the construction industry. Our ultimate goal is to graduate future professionals who could apply engineering principles, execute architectural designs, and successfully manage project resources.
The faculty in the CM program enjoy several years of practical and academic experience, and work closely with our students to build and enhance the aforementioned skills. These skills are developed through hands-on experience in our labs and facilities, site visits, and research projects. The program is supported by an Industry Advisory Board in order to ensure the curriculum and educational objectives are aligned with the consruction industry needs.
I hope the CM website provides you with the information you are looking for and gives you an idea of what we are doing to prepare our students for a career in Construction Management. If you have any questions about the program, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to welcoming you into our program.
