Horseback Riding, Chariots, and Ancient Warfare

In his talk, Dr. Anthony reviews recent archaeological discoveries in the Eurasian steppes related to the invention of horseback riding and chariotry. He argues that these were first developed by tribal herders in the steppes and only later diffused to the civilizations of the Near East, China, and South Asia.
Wuhan Scholar to Teach Bi-Term Course
Dr. Liu Lehen will be coming to WKU in the spring and will teach a Chinese Philosophy course in which he will cover Confucian, Daoist, and Buddhist from ancient times through the present day.
