Tuition for a course taken through the Dual Credit Program is $200. This is a substantial savings as the tuition for WKU courses that are not part of the Dual Credit Program is $1,059 per course. It is important to note that the tuition for the course does not include the cost of textbooks, which varies depending on the course.
(There is no longer an application fee for dual credit students.)
Tuition Billing and Payment Process
Students will receive an e-bill from WKU for their dual credit course(s). This e-bill will be sent to the student’s university email account. In order to access their WKU email accounts students should set up their TopNet account at www.topnet.wku.edu and then their email account at webmail.wku.edu. Tutorials for TopNet and WKU’s email can be accessed at www.wku.edu/dualcredit/wku-accounts-tutorial.php.
Payment for dual credit courses should be remitted to WKU by the date indicated on the e-bill. If tuition has not been paid by October 1 (Fall Semester Enrollment) or March 1 (Spring Semester Enrollment) the student will be dropped from the course for University Transcript Credit. If a student wishes to withdraw from a dual credit course, it is their responsibility to notify the Dual Credit Program office.
