GOLDENROD POETRY CONTEST
Goldenrod is the English Club's annual poetry festival in which students submit up the three poems for consideration. After submissions are turned in, the English club will narrow the poems down to ten finalists. The poems will then be submitted to a guest poet for final judging. The guest poet provides all ten finalists with a workshop and focuses specifically on their submitted works.
In 2013, we were fortunate to have Nickole Brown as our guest poet! The English Club hosted an event on March 19, where Nickole gave a spectacular reading. You can view the 2013 Goldenrod winners here.
Check back for more information about the 2014 Goldenrod. Coming soon!
