Schedule
This program will consist of 1,208 hours of supervised practice experience with a concentration in community nutrition. Students will complete 32 weeks of supervised practice (16 both the fall and spring semesters). The class and rotation calendar are planned for each student. The program start date is in mid-August (the week before University classes begin) and the scheduled completion date is in late April/early May. Vacation and holidays include Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the adjacent Friday, a two-week semester break, and Martin Luther King Day. Interns will be required to be on campus one Friday per month during the internship. Interns will be given one week off between the first and second rotation and second and third rotations.
