Student Financial Assistance

Net Price Calculator

WKU offers an on-line tool that allows students &/or parents to estimate the cost of attendance and potential financial aid awards.

By completing a simple form about the student’s background, plans for housing while in school, and family finances, the student can receive information on estimated costs and awards.  All information gathered is anonymous and is not stored.

Information needed to complete the estimator is listed below:

Information about the student:

  • Housing plans
  • Residency
  • Age
  • Marital status
  • Dependent children

Information about the parents (if applicable):

Once the student has completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and has been awarded a financial aid package, award information can be viewed on the student’s Topnet account.  For comparison purposes, the student can also access their Shopping Sheet information.
