 Cost of Education

The amounts listed below are standard figures used for budgeting purposes and eligibility for need-based financial aid for the 2012-2013 academic year. Please note that tuition and fees, housing (for on campus residents) and board (for students with meal plans) are the only costs which are paid directly to Western Kentucky University. If a student chooses to charge his/her books to the university bill, this charge will also be reflected on the bill. Room and board for on campus students are a range and are not a reflection of your actual billed charges. Books and supplies, transportation and personal costs will vary for each student and are estimates only.

**Tuition, meals, and room are charges that will appear on the student's bill. Students and parents should prepare for other indirect out-of-pocket expenses for miscellaneous personal needs and transportation.

T.I.P. stands for Tuition Incentive Program.

This is a tuition grant for participating counties in the states of Georgia, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Ohio and Tennessee. A complete listing of these counties is available in the Office of Admissions, 117 Potter Hall, Phone (270) 745-2551 or from the Student Financial Assistance web site at www.wku.edu/scholarship/tip.php.
