WKU Health Services : X-ray Services

X-ray Services

Diagnostic imaging is an essential tool for today's healthcare providers. At Health Services we perform non-invasive imaging studies that give our providers important information needed to help diagnose and treat our patients.

Our technologists provide radiographic examinations of the chest, abdomen, and bones. An order from a WKUHS healthcare provider is required to receive this service. We do not take x-ray orders from outside providers. We do not provide MRIs, CT scans, ultrasounds, bone density scans or mammograms; however we can refer you to a local diagnostic facility.

All of our technologists have limited Radiation Operator Certifications through the Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
