Health Services is conducting a new QI study!
From now through June 30th, Health Services will be participating in a AAAHC (Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care) Quality Improvement study. Randomly selected patients will be asked to provide feedback about visit specific information including satisfaction with staff, wait time and more. Selected participants will be asked to complete an informed consent and agree to one follow-up call after their visit. As an accredited facility, our number one priority is to provide quality services to our patients. Quality Improvement studies, patient satisfaction surveys and feedback provided from patients allows us to address issues in a time manner. If you are interested in learning more or participating in this study please contact our Quality Assurance Coordinator at email@example.com.
Health Services has achieved accreditation with AAAHC!
Successfully achieving accreditation demonstrates success in our commitment to provide the highest levels of quality care to our patients, while implementing sound, ethical business practices. After meeting this milestone, we endeavor to provide even greater patient care in the future.
What is AAAHC?
The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, AAAHC, is a private, non-profit organization. It is the leader in developing standards to advance and promote patient safety, quality and value for ambulatory health care through peer-based accreditation processes, education and research.
What is AAAHC accreditation?
Accreditation is a voluntary process through which an ambulatory health care organization is able to measure the quality of its services and performance against nationally recognized standards. The accreditation process involves self-assessment by the organization, as well as a thorough review by the Accreditation Association's expert surveyors, who themselves have extensive experience in the ambulatory environment. It is this self-analysis, peer review and consultation that ultimately helps an organization improve its care and services.
Accreditation is awarded to organizations that are found to be in compliance with the Accreditation Association standards.
