February 2014

Resident Assistant of the Month Andrew Finnell, Senior, Interdisciplinary Studies, Shelbyville, KY, Barnes Campbell Hall, ““Andrew is easily the face of the building. He knows everyone’s name and has always been the person that residents go to if they need to talk or need help. His open door policy allows all the residents to feel like he is actually invested in them and he is always the guy that is taking charge. He constantly pushes his residents and his staff to improve themselves in all aspects. Andrew is the guy everyone looks up to and is what an RA should be.”

Paul Beasley “Paul truly understands that his role as an RA can be used to make a positive impact on the lives of the residents. Although he is busy with his Senior year and applying to elite graduate schools, he always finds time to spend with the residents. He creates programs that stem from the needs of the residents. If you ask the residents in Hugh Poland Hall about Paul, they would say ‘he is a sophisticated, honest, inspiring, funny and all around great person."

resident assistant of the month. Missy Graehler. Junior. Lexingon, KY, Minton Hall.“I became an RA because I wanted to help others to embrace college life and especially find a family-like community here at WKU. What I love best about the RA position is the wonderful women on my floor as well as my amazing staff. The bonds that have been made and the memories that we have created are what makes this job so awesome."
