Academic Technology provides student computer labs, faculty support for instructional technology, support for the Blackboard system, assistance to departments running specialized computer labs, Technology Resource Center, and technology training for WKU faculty, staff, and students.

Administrative Systems and Applications provides help with most of the administrative systems on campus such as: Banner, BSR, TopNet, and InfoView.
The Communication Technologies Department provides and maintains a comprehensive voice and video communications system utilized to service the needs of Western Kentucky University faculty, staff, students, and correspondents.
The staff of Educational Telecommunications support public service, provide access to professional training, create content and distribute content in many unique ways to serve the university and the citizens of Kentucky.
Technical Support Services
Technical Support Services is dedicated to serving the Western Kentucky University community by providing technology support to all faculty, staff, students, alumni, and affiliates. The department makes every effort to provide high quality services necessary to meet the strategic goals of the University.
Vice President's Office
The Information Technology Division will continue to place specific emphasis on the use of information technology in student learning, faculty teaching, and staff productivity.
For Fall 2013, the IT Division implemented a new online service request system allowing you to report problems and seek assistance online.
The 2013-2014 academic year's free lab print allocation is available to use beginning August 12.
