Academic Technology provides student computer labs, faculty support for instructional technology, support for the Blackboard system, assistance to departments running specialized computer labs, Technology Resource Center, and technology training for WKU faculty, staff, and students.
The Communication Technologies Department provides and maintains a comprehensive voice and video communications system utilized to service the needs of Western Kentucky University faculty, staff, students, and correspondents.
Enterprise Applications and Programming
Enterprise Applications and Programming provides programming services for many of the administrative systems on campus such as: Banner, BSR, TopNet, InfoView, and OU Campus. Our staff of application programmers and web developers are committed to serving your technology needs and providing enterprise programming services.
Enterprise Systems provides help with most of the systems on campus such as: email, web, Banner, etc.. Our dedicated staff of system administrators, database administrators, security administrators, and operation personnel are committed to serving your technology needs and providing system services, training, and technical support.
Technical Support Services
Technical Support Services is dedicated to serving the Western Kentucky University community by providing technology support to all faculty, staff, students, alumni, and affiliates. The department makes every effort to provide high quality services necessary to meet the strategic goals of the University.
